The online Handguns for Beginners Class has no range or live-fire component! This course is for educational purposes only.

Sometimes, the biggest challenge can be as simple as just getting started. This class is the perfect first step in building your pistol training foundation while learning how to shoot. While we can’t over-emphasize the importance of hands-on range time, this course is intended to teach the beginner shooter the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for safely owning and operating a handgun.

The online Handguns for Beginners units will include sections on the different types of pistols and their operations, ammunition, and selecting and storing a firearm. We will also discuss the basic fundamentals of shooting a pistol such as grip, stance, aligning your sights, and trigger control.  Afterwards, you can enhance your skills and boost your confidence even further in learning how to shoot with one of our more advanced classes.

Please note: This is not an NRA approved course, but was written and is administered by an NRA certified instructor. It is designed and developed by experts in the field to help you learn.
